Ms. Thomaselli provides clients with results-driven strategic communications and public affairs strategies, as well as thoughtful approaches to third-party engagement and coalition development. Having worked with a variety of organizations, including labor unions and large-scale businesses, she has a knack for developing and launching effective campaigns that tackle pressing issues and challenges head-on.

Ms. Thomaselli has a proven track record of ensuring her clients remain center stage in timely conversations and debates – generating media placements in premier outlets, including Fast Company, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post and appearances on major networks such as CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and NPR.

A native West Virginian, Ms. Thomaselli began her career serving on the staff of Senator John D. Rockefeller IV (D-WV), then-Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. Upon leaving Capitol Hill, she managed clients’ strategic communications efforts at respected lobbying and public affairs consultancies before launching Breakthrough 22 in early 2020.

Ms. Thomaselli is a proud Mountaineer and graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University, where she was elected to the Student Government Association’s Board of Governors for two terms.
